Alright, I caved. I bought it. It's MAC's eyeshadow in
Bough Grey from the
MAC Give Me Liberty of London collection, and actually, I'm glad I did. I've been using this quite a lot in the past week - more than I've been using
Birds and Berries eyeshadow. Its a very wearable colour, even for working in a lab!
I'm sure you've probably seen a lot of swatches from the other blogs.
Bough Grey is a greenish gray colour that is a satin finish - kinda matte with a slight sheen. I love using this on the crease.
Like most satin-finish eyeshadows, it comes out sheer at first, but they're really buildable. I think satin finish eyeshadows are my favourite at the moment. They're a lot easier to wear for everyday as opposed to shimmery veluxe pearl ones; one of my most used eyeshadows,
Cork, is a satin! ♥

Wow the packaging is really pretty! We haven't got the collection out in Australia yet.

Nice colour, would be lovely as part of a smoky eye. I stayed away from this collection because of the print design but the flower is actually quite pretty x

ReplyDelete@bowsnhearts- Yeah, the packaging is quite pretty, but I wasn't super-impressed when I saw it at first. It wasn't like an 'OMG.. that's SOO pretty!'-type of pretty lol. Knight Divine's a pretty colour, but I don't have it though! :P I think I already have too many haha xx
ReplyDelete@Marce- Its the same way in the Philippines when I go back there, the MAC collections are always super-late. But that's true, it gives you the opportunity to save up. Personally, I really like this eyeshadow, but its not a must-have though :) Hope your weekend was fab too! x
ReplyDelete@Peonies and lilies- You're right, I think this will look good as part of a smokey eye. This collection has 5 eyeshadows, and each of them has a different flower on top! You should get at least one of them x

@tris1978ton- Yup, grey eyeshadows are definitely wearable for the day!
@Ting Ting- Many eyeshadows look different on swatches. I guess it depends on the finish of the eyeshadow and the colour of what your swatching it on :)
