Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation is my foundation pick for when I want to look glowy and yet natural for everyday use. It is great for good-skin days.
The consistency is a little runny compared to other foundations I've tried. Perhaps even more runny than MAC Face and Body Foundation. This makes it glide well on the skin and makes it easier to blend.
Make sure you apply this on cleansed and moisturised skin. For oily skin types, use a mattifying primer. This helps hold the product more on the skin.
It doesn't break my skin out or clog my pores.
The coverage is light to medium, depending on application. I know people who apply this straight with the fingers but I don't tend to like getting my fingers dirty and so I love applying this with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush to provide an even well buffed coverage. It does not accentuate dry patches of skin. With one layer, my freckles still show through (see cheeks) but I wouldn't consider that a bad thing. It makes me looks like good natural skin.
My skin tone is in between a MAC25-30. I have the shade in #06 which I find is a little dark for my complexion but nevertheless with the consistency it blends well and just makes me appear a little more tanned.
This foundation is good for dry to combination skin. I would not recommend this for people with oily skins as this does not have any oil-controlling abilities. It does stay well on through the day with occasionally needing to blot and touch up oily areas such as my forehead and nose.
It is pretty expensive but one pump is sufficient for my entire face. I estimate this will probably last me around 50 uses!
wearing no foundation
I would wear this product when I want my skin to look natural. As it is lightweight, it is quite comfortable to use in the summer. The coverage is not the best so I would limit wearing this to those 'good skin' days when I don't have too many blemishes to hide!

Hahaha thanks Divya! I know its terrible but I don't like going out with my face feeling naked, and I love the way this foundation especially blurs out some uneven pigmentation! What's your favourite foundation? :)
