| PRAI Beauty Luxury Skincare Review |
PRAI Beauty is a new upmarket skincare brand with some great high quality products enriched with key ingredients that help keep your skin youthful and vibrant. Nigel Barker (of whom I am a massive fan!) has just taken over as creative director.
I have tested these products for a while and I can say my favourite by far is the PRAI Beauty Platinum Firm and Lift Eye Serum*. I have noticed my under eyes magically transform and hydrate in prep for any eye makeup and I go to apply after. It contains platinum, nulastic silk and praisomes (the last two patented) with help lift and firm the skin and help erase fine lines and wrinkles. It is a firm textures and you can feel it working each time.
The PRAI Beauty 24K Gold Illuminator* is a rich creamy bronze formula which contains vitamin E and other antiaging peptides and vitamins. As it has a shimmery texture, I feel it is perfect for summer skincare. What I love is how it gives a beautiful and elegant glow, that is not overpowering, with its light reflecting particles.

The PRAI Beauty Ageless Eye Dark Circle Corrector* is a slightly too light a shade and shimmery to work on my skin tone but its rich and creamy texture provides a good base to then apply concealer on top as it smooths out any wrinkles and illuminates the dark areas.
The PRAI Beauty 24K Gold Wrinkle Filler* is an extra thick texture and again provides a great base to put on concealer and has noticeably helped prevent and reduce creasing throughout the day. I have extremely sensitive skin and stress, cold weather and wearing makeup too regularly can really make my eczema flare, especially around my eyes. This product has really helped!
The PRAI Beauty 24K Gold Concentrate Retinol* firstly smells amazing. It has a lighter texture but contrarily gives a deep rich hydrating and really does make my skin glow.
I am in love with this range. The packaging is luxurious in gold and silver and products have been generously sized. These products are great for aging skin and those like me who have very dry/eczematous skin as they really moisturise to a new level.
Overall I think these products are great and would definitely recommend!

| La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra Eye Contour Review |
I have suffered from eczema all my life. It was mainly in the creases of my elbows (flexural) then badly affected my hands, got better during my university life and since starting working again it affecting my hands and around my eyes (periorbital).
Cutting out certain allergens, for example biological washing powder, has helped but certain things e.g. work related stress can be hard to avoid. The eczema around my eyes has been the most difficult to deal with as it affects confidence as well as prevents makeup use to allow the skin to heal.
I have found as a result, the skin around my eyes have started to darken and I have been seeking products which help combat these.
La Roche-Posay have a product for just this. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra Eye Contour* is marketed for 'sensitive eye contour'. This product seems to plug the gap between youthful skin and anti-aging (I hope I still fit into the pre-anti-aging product category!). It quotes 'anti-discomfort and anti-puffiness care' along with their Dermatological expert advise suggesting that dryness for contact lens wear, computer screen usage and other external aggressor can lead to.
I decided to trial this product for a full week along with their morning and evening regimen guidance to put this product to the full test. They recommend putting a small amount of product on your ring finger and dabbing from the inner corner of your eye around the contour and eyelid, then apply pressure underneath your eye and then on a closed eyelid.
In the short term, the product is great. I can visibly notice smoother skin around my eye contour and my eyes feel refreshed.
After a whole week the skin around my eyes are definitely smoother and tighter. I am in love with this product! I have not noticed whether my dark circles have improved but it may be a little early for that!

ie when I wake up in the morning, and at the end of a long working day.
The cold season with the heating on doesn't help either,
and neither does my daily exposure to computer screens.
I was so ecstatic to find out about this new eye mist in the market
that claims to provide instant relief for dry eyes
without ruining eye makeup!
It is the new OPTREX ActiMist 2in1 Eye Spray
for Tired and Uncomfortable Eyes.
This wonder spray has been specially formulated for the instant relief of tired eyes
to give a refreshing boost so that your eyes
feel more comfortable, revitalised and look their best.
The mist contains liposome particles which work to repair
and replenish the eye’s natural moisture barrier,
relieving tired eyes for up to four hours
while the Pro Vitamin B5 within the new formula helps to
moisturise the eyelids and surrounding delicate skin.
Unlike eye drops, ActiMist™ can be sprayed onto closed eyelids,
which is quite peculiar.
1-2 sprays at a time usually does the trick.
I find that it causes a very faint warming sensation
which somehow helps revitalise the eyes.
The solution itself is more sticky compared to the usual eye drops,
and is a translucent white in colour,
but it applies clear and within 5 minutes,
it leaves your skin with a smooth finish.
Compared to using the standard eye drops,
I do not find this to be as good in terms of hydrating dry eyes
however, it is perfect for those wearing eye makeup.
It can be applied over the top of make-up,
and as long as you don't rub your eyes with the product on
it will not smudge.
I find that it does wet mascara however,
but it does not cause it to run.
It is claims to be safe for contact lens wearers
so it’s the perfect eye ‘pick-me-up’ for makeup lovers!
Apparently Terry Barber, MAC's director of artistry, loves it too!
Hi everyone! I'm sorry for the lack of posts lately. I've been really busy with work and life + a little bit lazy with my blogging. For a while, blogging started to feel like a chore for me and decided I needed a bit of a break and actually blog when I want to (as opposed to feeling like I have to!). I meant to do this look ever since MAC Spring Colour Forecast came out (4 weeks ago!), but I never had the time. I'm on a short Easter break now, and I realise I haven't posted a LOOK in a long time. So here's my peach and pink look inspired by the Coral sub-collection in MAC Spring Colour Forecast! I think it looks sweet and good enough to eat lol. I hope you like it xxx
I used:
EYES
MAC Rubenesque paint pot (base)
MAC eyeshadows in Nanogold (highlight), Dear Cupcake (satin medium-pink, crease), Evening Aura (peachy gold, lid)
MAC Black Russian eye liner (black with sparkles, upper lashline)
MAC Fascinating eye kohl (white, waterline)
Maybelline Falsies Mascara - love! ♥
MAC Spiked brow pencil
FACE
MAC Select Moisturecover concealer
MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural
MAC Sun & Moon mineralized blush
MAC Pearl cream colour base
LIPS
MAC Mouth Off lip pencil (orange)
MAC Fresh Salmon lipstick (coral with gold sheen)
I really liked this look and the bf complimented me on it. When I do wear a full face of makeup, I usually go for dark and smokey makeup and not like this, but since I like the way this turned out, I think I'll try wearing brighter colours more often. ♥ What's your makeup style? ♥
I've also been sporting these green contacts since Spring started. They're Flex Wear Emotions, although I can't recall the shade name. I really like them. I had them in my stash for a while (sealed of course), but I just decided to whip them out when I saw the gorgeous Amanda Seyfriend on the cover of one of the recent magazines - Glamour I think?
As I said, I really like these green contacts but my bf seems to prefer me with my brown or blue lenses. What do you think? ♥
Do you like this look?? xx
I also got to check out the MAC Liberty of London collection last week, and my haul will be on my next post! :) x

Here's my first look using products from the MAC Warm and Cozy collection! All neutral colours. Funny that this is one of those 'natural' looks that takes a bit of makeup to work haha. I also used my newly acquired Maybelline eyeliner! Its a gorgeous colour, and so smooth to apply! I'm so happy with it. Anyway, enjoy ~! ♥
I used:
EYES
MAC Rubenesque paint pot (gold, all over lid as base)
MAC MSFN in Medium Dark & Pearl cream colour base to highlight
MAC eyeshadows in Vanilla (cream, lid), Evening Aura (pale peach-gold duochrome, outer crease) & Modelette (caramel, inner crease)
Maybelline Brown Gleam eye kohl
L'oreal Double Extension mascara primer
Maybelline Collosal Volume mascara
MAC Spiked brow pencil
FACE
MAC Select Moisturecover concealer
MAC MSFN in Medium Plus & Medium Dark
MAC So Ceylon MSF (rose-bronze, cheeks)
LIPS
MAC Cork lip pencil
MAC Siss lipstick
MAC Feeling Dreamy lipglass

On the phone to the bf, I'm so vain lol!

With two of my favourite lippies! Siss lipstick and Feeling Dreamy lipglass!
And did you notice my new blue contacts? They're Flex Wear Emotions in the shade Riviera ♥
I hope you enjoyed this look! What do you think?!! ♥

Flex Wear Colors contact lenses in Charcoal.
These contacts have two colours blended together: light grey and black. My eyes tend to give my coloured contacts a bluish tinge when worn so it kinda looks like an icy blue in the picture.
Dia: 14.0
B.C: 8.6
I haven't used these contacts much, but I used them in my Halloween 2009 and 21st birthday looks. I must say though, these aren't the most comfortable ones I've tried. I think they're a bit hard/thick? And seems like my eyes feel dry more quickly than other ones.
Hope this helps though! ♥
