Looks for Green Eyes

France's no. 1 selling beauty brand Yves Rocher have launched new makeup products to create the perfect smokey eye. They have 6 eyeshadow quads including Deep Grey, Red Hot Brown and what I have here, Brilliant Green. The new Fixing Eye Primer creates a smooth and flawless base with Camellia Oil. The black Kajal Liner is so rich in pigment to easily create that smoked out look. The Volume Vertige Mascara has a patented Reservoir Brush that allows easy application of mascara. I've used all three products in this makeup look and individual reviews to follow below.
Starting off with the Yves Rocher Eyeshadow Quad in Brilliant Green, this beautiful quad of emerald green shades has all the greens you need. They all have soft velvety textures. It has a pale silver shade with sparkles and hints of green, two shimmery shades - an emerald green and a darker more shimmery moss green, and a matte seaweed green which I am in love with. It has a fabulous feel and pigmentation a lot like the matte2 finishes from MAC.

| Yves Rocher 100% Intense Kajal Review |
Next up is the Yves Rocher Intense Kajal 100% in Black. This is my first experience of kajal pencils and I'm surprised at how easy it is to use. The point is surprisingly soft and deposits an easy buildable grey-black pigment. It feels glides nicely on the waterline too. Downside is that it smudges easily and requires setting with eyeshadow on top to make it last longer. I would avoid using this on the lower lashline as you wouldn't want it migrating down south.

| Yves Rocher Volume Vertige Mascara |
Lastly is the Yves Rocher Volume Vertige Mascara. This mascara lengthens, volumises and separates the lashes providing a shiny finish. It holds a curl pretty well. It doesn't smudge and lasts pretty long. This does not volumise as much as my current favourite Bourjois, but it clumps less and provides natural looking lashes for daily use.

Hi everyone! Here's a look featuring some products I got from the MAC To The Beach collection. It's actually the first time I've used bright lime green eyeshadow; it just looks so intimidating in the pan! But to be honest, I actually really like it. It's such a pretty colour - I hope you agree! Well as usual, products I used and more photos after the jump! ♥
Hey guys! This is a massive post. My friend and I walked around London last week (I know, super late post!). She brought me to the lovely Borough Market - my first time there, and I loved it. We also dropped by Covent Garden, which was beautiful as always. I took a lot of photos of our trip that I can share with you after the jump! I also bought a few jewellery pieces from Accessorize, which I'll share with you, along with my makeup and outfit of that day ♥
I've been meaning to do this look for ages! But I wanted to wait until I busted out my green contacts since Kristen's natural eyes are greenish-grey, and then once I did, I had to wait until I had the opportunity in my busy life! Smokey eyes using a green-brown duochrome eyeshadow from Too Faced. Its really pretty, sultry and sexy. A different way to wear smokey eyes! I hope you enjoy this one xx
I used:
EYES
MAC Soft Ochre paint pot
MAC eyeliner in Black Russian (black with sparkles, upper lash line)
MAC eyeshadows in Nanogold (pale peach/pink duochrome, highlight), Cork (warm mid-tone brown, crease)
Too Faced eyeshadow in Label Whore (brown-green duochrome, lid) - also patted a bit of Nanogold on top of Label Whore in the middle of my lid to make that area pop a bit
MAC Brow pencil in Spiked
Maybelline Falsies mascara
FACE
MAC Face and Body foundation - I love this stuff!
MAC MSF Natural
MAC Sun and Moon mineralized blush
MAC Pearl cream colour base
LIPS
MAC Peachstock lipstick - blotted for a matte effect.
And for reference, here's my inspiration!

I used Too Faced Label Whore eyeshadow, which is similar to MAC Club eyeshadow in the permanent line. However, I do believe Label Whore is a lot better. Its more pigmented, really smooth and easy to apply. I reviewed it here before.
I'm not really a fan of Kristen, because I believe her acting sucks. (Sorry to the fans!) But she has improved a bit in the second Twilight film though compared to the first one. I do think she is quite pretty, and with long hair and brown contacts, she really looks the part of Bella Swan!
I hope you enjoyed this look. Let me know what you think! ♥

Hi everyone! I made this look inspired by the MAC Give Me Liberty of London collection. I took some eyeshadows I already had that I find are similar to the actual eyeshadows in the collection and used those instead - well except for Birds and Berries eyeshadow which I purchased. I tried to use all 5 eyeshadows in one look, so this is quite a colourful one. I hope you enjoy it! ♥
Here's the bunch of eyeshadows I compiled ~
Yogurt and Satellite Dreams are from the permanent line. Dear Cupcake (LE) is from the Sugarsweet collection. Grey Range is from the Photo Realism quad in the Makeup Art Cosmetics collection. Birds and Berries is from the Give Me Liberty of London collection. For this look, I used:
EYES
MAC Soft Ochre paint pot (neutral base)
MAC eyeshadows in Yogurt (brow highlight), Grey Range (outer crease), Satellite Dreams (inner crease), Dear Cupcake (lid), Birds and Berries (lower lashline)
MAC Black Russian pearlglide liner
Maybelline Falsies mascara
MAC Spiked brow pencil
FACE
MAC Face and Body foundation
MAC Select Moisturecover concealer
MAC Mineralized Skinfinish natural
MAC Prim n Proper blush
LIPS
MAC Shy Girl lipstick
I hope you enjoyed this look! What do you think? ♥

Hi everyone! I'm sorry for the lack of posts lately. I've been really busy with work and life + a little bit lazy with my blogging. For a while, blogging started to feel like a chore for me and decided I needed a bit of a break and actually blog when I want to (as opposed to feeling like I have to!). I meant to do this look ever since MAC Spring Colour Forecast came out (4 weeks ago!), but I never had the time. I'm on a short Easter break now, and I realise I haven't posted a LOOK in a long time. So here's my peach and pink look inspired by the Coral sub-collection in MAC Spring Colour Forecast! I think it looks sweet and good enough to eat lol. I hope you like it xxx
I used:
EYES
MAC Rubenesque paint pot (base)
MAC eyeshadows in Nanogold (highlight), Dear Cupcake (satin medium-pink, crease), Evening Aura (peachy gold, lid)
MAC Black Russian eye liner (black with sparkles, upper lashline)
MAC Fascinating eye kohl (white, waterline)
Maybelline Falsies Mascara - love! ♥
MAC Spiked brow pencil
FACE
MAC Select Moisturecover concealer
MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural
MAC Sun & Moon mineralized blush
MAC Pearl cream colour base
LIPS
MAC Mouth Off lip pencil (orange)
MAC Fresh Salmon lipstick (coral with gold sheen)
I really liked this look and the bf complimented me on it. When I do wear a full face of makeup, I usually go for dark and smokey makeup and not like this, but since I like the way this turned out, I think I'll try wearing brighter colours more often. ♥ What's your makeup style? ♥
I've also been sporting these green contacts since Spring started. They're Flex Wear Emotions, although I can't recall the shade name. I really like them. I had them in my stash for a while (sealed of course), but I just decided to whip them out when I saw the gorgeous Amanda Seyfriend on the cover of one of the recent magazines - Glamour I think?
As I said, I really like these green contacts but my bf seems to prefer me with my brown or blue lenses. What do you think? ♥
Do you like this look?? xx
I also got to check out the MAC Liberty of London collection last week, and my haul will be on my next post! :) x
