This is a pretty late post, but I'd like to share with you the makeup and outfit I wore on my birthday celebration - on the day after my actual birthday. It was a Sunday and therefore a bigger gathering was more feasible due to guests having breaks off work. I had so much fun meeting old friends.

Birthday Look 2: Purple !

This post is dedicated to my beautiful & talented sister, Shannon.

 On September 2010, my sister had her Sweet Sixteenth birthday celebration, themed Alice in Wonderland! It was a pretty big party with over a hundred guests. My entire family dressed up in costumes for the occasion, I was the Red Queen - I designed my own costume, hence its unlike any of the 'Red Queen/Queen of Hearts' costumes out there. I did my own makeup, as well as my sister's makeup - by her request! I was a bit proud that she chose me to do her makeup instead of the salon's makeup artist. Haha. This post has the makeup looks I did for us both, as well as about her big night. Well, I hope you enjoy the pictures~ ! ♥

I was able have a glimpse of future makeup trends, watch Terry Barber work his makeup magic, watch Betty Jackson's runway show, get a makeover, and meet a few beautiful bloggers! As requested by lovely reader Yumiko, I made a makeup look using the new products I got, which I reviewed in this post. I used the MAC Colour 4 eyeshadow quad, the Benefit Hoola bronzer, and the MAC Ladyblush blush on lips and cheeks. I hope you like this look!

Hello everyone! I'm sorry for the lack of posts. I seem to have underestimated how busy I would be this year, with going to the hospital everyday during the week and some on-calls in the weekends! I guess its no surprise since I am graduating within the next couple of years. I need to make the most of these two years to become the doctor patients can rely on.

Nevertheless, I still try to make time to update myself with the new MAC collections (haha) and I've recently checked out MAC's new Dare to Wear collection and the new Dazzle lipsticks. Here are my thoughts!
