Revlon has finally made its contribution to the matte liquid lipstick trend. Swatching these Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colors at Boots, I was drawn to Seduction, a matte peachy nude. It looks so beautiful in its sleek slick packaging. I just had to have it!

The formula reminds me of the NYX Matte Lip Creams (check out a recent haul HERE) in that these are nondrying and feel velvety on the lips. There's a short-lived minty tingly sensation on application but otherwise it is tasteless and odourless *thumbs up!*. The doe foot applicator provides the perfect amount of product and avoids wastage.

The shade itself is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l. A nude peachy pink that does not wash me out. Its a very flattering shade that is easy to wear day or night, and I'm sure it also would look good on a variety of skintones. More pigmented lips could do with a matching lip pencil underneath.

I've compared it to some of my favourite nudes. It is similar to Charlotte Tilbury Bitch Perfect Lipstick, and it is considerably more peachy than MAC Fanfare Lipstick and MAC Cosmo Lipstick.

Overall I am very impressed by this offering from Revlon. It is available in Boots and Superdrug. Have you tried the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colors?

Easily one of the sweetest beauty gurus in YouTube, makeup artist Tanya Burr has released an equally sweet line of lip glosses with Eye Candy. I have two contrasting shades here, a super pretty yellow based baby pink in Afternoon Tea and an almost fluorescent hot pink called Exotic Island. They both have candy sweet scents that I neither love nor hate, but some others may have stronger feelings about this. Both of these colours have cream finishes (no glitter flecks in sight!) which is a plus in my book. On first application, they seem a bit sticky that's just a tad mellower compared to the MAC Lipglasses, but once on they somehow lose the tackiness that makes me appreciate them more. The colours are brilliant and I'm warming up to the stickiness a little bit. Of course this is something I will perhaps avoid on the windy weather unless I've got my hair up - see more windy weather tips here. Swatches below -- Can you tell which one I like better?

L'occitane Pivoine Délicate Lipstick
This lipstick enhances lips with a delicate pink veil of colour. It is pretty sheer but after a few swipes it gives you that perfect 'My Lips But Better' colour. It has a rich texture, delicately perfumed and enriched with softening Peony extract, to give an instant feeling of comfort and leaves lips feeling light, and smooth. Dermatologically tested.

I ordered this online, and to be honest, I ordered it blindly, ie. without swatching it in store. I was a bit nervous at first, but when it arrived, I was ecstatic! This is such a pretty nude shade! It has a pinkish tone, which surprisingly does not wash me out. My favourite nudes have always been yellow-toned ones like Siss, Peachstock and Freckletone, but I'm happy to place Viva Glam Gaga 2 in my nude arsenal.

What a gorgeous, gorgeous lipstick! I can't believe I almost decided to skip this, until I saw one of the MAs wearing it. Marquise'd lipstick a light pinkish-coral, almost nude, with a faint golden sheen. It comes in a smooth creamy lustre finish, which is one of my favourites as it looks and feels really smooth and moisturising. It works well to brighten up my face without being too 'in-your-face bright'!
