Looks: Baby Pink Lips

Here is a look featuring Hypnotizing eyeshadow which has been repromoted as part of the MAC Shop & Drop Eyeshadow Quad in the MAC Shop MAC Cook MAC collection. This eyeshadow is a medium taupe colour with purple shimmers. It can look a little bit purple in different lighting. This is one of the prettiest and most wearable eyeshadows I have. It is very pigmented and applies well. I definitely recommend it!

The bf and I celebrated our Valentine's Day early on Friday the 12th of February as opposed to the 14th. Here's the look I wore on our special day! I used mainly items from the MAC Colour Craft collection. It's sweet and girly ~ The bf really liked it! And guess what he got me for Valentine's Day?? Well you don't really need to guess, its on the title! He got me the new MAC 130 brush! I was so thrilled. He got me the 188, and now this! I'm so happy, I can't believe it! He's such a sweetie ♥ Anyway, continue reading for my look, my day and a brush review :) xx

We met after he finished uni and we walked around Oxford Street for a bit, went to GAME to look for new video games, and then ate out at one of my ever favourite restaurants - Las Iguanas in Soho.
We had the usual: 3 Tapas - Champinones, Quesadillas and Nachos. A few drinks, and we also tried this new dish called Chilli. I didn't like it as much as what we always order, but it was worth a try. Too much tomato sauce. :)
After that, Selfridges was still open and we decided to drop by. And I was so thrilled - he got me the MAC 130 brush! So here's my short review!

The MAC 130 brush is a flat toppped duo fibre brush. The bristles are firm but soft. It's more dense than the 188 brush, and its white bristles are also much shorter. I've heard that this brush is good for applying foundation, ensuring an 'air-brushed' finish with enough buffing, but I think it may also be good at contouring since the shape kinda reminds me of the MAC 109 brush, which used to be my contouring brush! I don't contour my cheeks any more which is why 'it used to be'. I think this brush may also be good for applying blush, since its small enough, creme or powder blushes. I'm so excited to have this, I couldn't stop smiling through the night because he bought it for me, but mainly because he actually remembered that I wanted this! It makes me really happy when people remember my wishlists lol. xx Well anyway, onto more pictures :)

I hope you enjoyed this post! How did your Valentine's Day go? ♥

Here's a look I've made inspired by pink flora. I used the Fresh Cut palette from the MAC Graphic Gardens collection, Nude Rose lipstick from the MAC DSquared2 collection, and a blush from the Style Warriors collection! ANd oh yeah, this pink eyeshadow with pale pink lips look was my bf's idea! hehe, he's so sweet ♥
I used the following products, all MAC unless stated otherwise ^_^

Studio Sculpt NC25 foundation
Select Moisturecover NC30 concealer *yea I know, it doesn't match the foundation, but looks alright tho*

Playing with makeup ♥
Apart from the makeup, notice anything else different? I've had my hair styled! Finally!! My hair's wavy now~ mom thinks it suits me and gives me a softer look, rather than when my hair was naturally straight that made me look 'mataray' in Tagalog, which means 'mean' or 'fierce' in English.
So... what do you think??♥

Second time trying out my false lashes! Really simple look with warm bronzes and pale pinks. The falsies were the toughest bits! I need to watch more youtube videos hehe. Any tips you can share for applying false lashes?
I used:
EYES
MAC Soft Ochre paint pot
MAC Bronze and Naked Lunch eyeshadows
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero
Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara
Cheap False Lashes
FACE
No overall foundation/face powder
Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Foundation to contour
MAC Pink Swoon blush
LIPS
MAC Plink! lipstick

Don't be fooled by the dewyness! Its not highlight.. lol. It was quite warm today. Well, relatively since it really IS warm in the Philippines. And I didn't use any all over face powder or foundation today... except the products on the cheeks. Oh, and if you noticed, I finally got my brows reshaped! I think my month wait of re-growing my eyebrows was worth it. =)
Hope you liked this look! ♥

I dug out this Lancome 9-eyeshadow palette from my makeup stash. My mum gave it to me before I started loving makeup, and I did NOT like the colour pay off then. I thought it was really difficult to get the colours to show! Fast-forward 2 years later, I stumbled upon this while I was fixing up things, and decided to give it a go again - with my better brushes this time. My, I was surprised! This thing has some really good colours in it. I love the first row of shadows the most. I'm glad to take the palette back in my 'main' stash again. :)
Please excuse the growing brows!

I used:
EYES
MAC Soft Ochre paint pot
Lancome eyeshadows: Grey-Taupe, Whitish-Gold, Pastel Green, Brown
Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Zero
Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara
FACE
MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural in Medium Dark
MAC Hipness Blush
LIPS
MAC Way to Love lipstick

I really thought this green shadow was a bit chalky and subtle, which makes it a wearable shade. So here's my look! I hope you liked it.
How often do you wear green eyeshadow? ♥

This isn't exactly a look of the day per se, since I was only playing with my makeup and just put it one eye, half of my face, and on my lips. But nevertheless, I thought it might be worth placing on my blog, for my records and for your viewing. I really liked the effect of smokey purples, and I hope you do too! :)

A very simple everyday look with cat eyes! :) I used...
