Looks: Celebrity-Inspired

| My Attempt at Kylie Jenner Lips |
Thanks to the popularity led by older half-sisters the Kardashians, the next generation of fashion inspirations - the Jenner sisters have taken the beauty world by storm. Kylie Jenner in particular, the younger of the two, is known for instagramming a full pout which is now revealed thanks to the help of a few mls of fillers. We shouldn't discount her makeup skills however, as a sister contour-queen sister, she too is experienced clever makeup trickery and lip-contour.
I've scoured the web for similar shades to achieve this pout. As her family is an avid lover of MAC I thought that would be the best place to start.
In this look, I've used MAC Whirl Lip Pencil to line and fill the lips. It's a brown pink shade that would look good on everyone. I overl-lined my top lip - concentrating on the sides of the lips and avoiding the Cupid's bow to avoid that drag queen or 'I don't know how to apply lip liner look' that colouring over the Cupid's bow can give.
After lining I apply MAC Brave lipstick a creamy brown pink shade that is a few shades brighter than Whirl. To achieve the matte but luscious finish, tap over some translucent powder. I've used MAC Blot Powder here but any translucent powder would do.
Finish up with large fluttery false eyelashes and you're good to go. Don't forget to Instagram a few selfies Kardashians style.

Kylie Jenner Lips
Kylie Jenner's make up look was hailed the most sought-after of 2014. The beauty community went crazy and came up with a lot of brilliant tutorials on how to get the look. So here's me joining the bandwagon and doing my own take on the look, modelled by my best friend (and favourite make up canvas), Dionna.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
This look was inspired by Megan Fox's look in the music video Love The Way You Lie by Eminem and Rihanna. I was watching it earlier today, and I wanted to create a look inspired by hers. In this look, I am using the Urban Decay Naked Palette, products from Inglot, and Eyeko, as well as MAC products. I hope you enjoy this! ♥
I was watching the X-factor this weekend, and I was inspired to do this makeup look worn by Cheryl Cole on the Saturday show (Live Show 6). It's a different take on the smokey brown eye look: a thickened brown line on the lower lash line, winging out a bit. It's a great neutral smokey look that's easy to wear and definitely not over the top. I really liked this look on her, and I might say I like it on myself as well. I'm sure anyone can pull this off! :)
In this look I was able to use the Urban Decay Naked palette, MAC Bite of an Apple blush from the Venomous Villains collection, as well as The Faerie Glen lipstick from the recent MAC Tartan Tale collection. I hope you enjoy this look xx
Hello everyone, I know its been a long time since I've posted a look, and I haven't been updating as much as I used to. It's because I've been really busy lately with uni, and some other extra things, and also partly because I've starting to become lazy somewhat with blogging - I feel like I need a bit of a break! Up until a few weeks ago, blogging started to become a 'chore' for me, and it didn't feel right, and I just wanted that feeling to go away. So now I'm starting this thing where I only blog when I actually want to, not when I feel compelled to do so. And because of that, I do have quite a lot to blog about, which I might space in the next few weeks. A lot of new things I bought and some samples I've been sent. But anyway, enough of my babbling! This post is supposed to be about my look!
I wore this look last Friday, when my bf took me to his 'surprise' (which I guessed the day before!), a date and to watch Disney on Ice - 100 Years of Magic at the O2 arena - which was beautiful by the way! All you Disney buffs would love it ♥ I had just been listening and watching Cheryl Cole's new music video of her single 'Promise This' and I was inspired a bit by her makeup when she wore that red-orange dress. I hope you like it! Keep Reading for what I used and more photos!
The weather's getting a lot warmer now, summer's almost here! And I wanted to celebrate its coming by doing a bold and bright-lipped Cheryl Cole inspired look! So here it is, I hope you like it ♥
I've been meaning to do this look for ages! But I wanted to wait until I busted out my green contacts since Kristen's natural eyes are greenish-grey, and then once I did, I had to wait until I had the opportunity in my busy life! Smokey eyes using a green-brown duochrome eyeshadow from Too Faced. Its really pretty, sultry and sexy. A different way to wear smokey eyes! I hope you enjoy this one xx
I used:
EYES
MAC Soft Ochre paint pot
MAC eyeliner in Black Russian (black with sparkles, upper lash line)
MAC eyeshadows in Nanogold (pale peach/pink duochrome, highlight), Cork (warm mid-tone brown, crease)
Too Faced eyeshadow in Label Whore (brown-green duochrome, lid) - also patted a bit of Nanogold on top of Label Whore in the middle of my lid to make that area pop a bit
MAC Brow pencil in Spiked
Maybelline Falsies mascara
FACE
MAC Face and Body foundation - I love this stuff!
MAC MSF Natural
MAC Sun and Moon mineralized blush
MAC Pearl cream colour base
LIPS
MAC Peachstock lipstick - blotted for a matte effect.
And for reference, here's my inspiration!

I used Too Faced Label Whore eyeshadow, which is similar to MAC Club eyeshadow in the permanent line. However, I do believe Label Whore is a lot better. Its more pigmented, really smooth and easy to apply. I reviewed it here before.
I'm not really a fan of Kristen, because I believe her acting sucks. (Sorry to the fans!) But she has improved a bit in the second Twilight film though compared to the first one. I do think she is quite pretty, and with long hair and brown contacts, she really looks the part of Bella Swan!
I hope you enjoyed this look. Let me know what you think! ♥

Hi everyone! I'm excited for the new MAC Viva Glam lipsticks to be out in the UK! They're supposedly going to be available on March. I'm envious of those in the US and Canada that already have it! I'm really looking forward to the Viva Glam Gaga lipstick. All sales from MAC Viva GLam lipsticks go to charity - isn't that awesome??
Anyway, I just love the promo image for the new Viva Glams! I already did my Viva Glam Gaga inspired look, and I thought it was about time to do a Viva Glam Cyndi Lauper inspired one! I hope you enjoy this. Keep reading for more!! xx

I saw one of Ashley Greene's pictures on the web and got inspired to do a similar look * if you don't know who she is, she plays 'Alice' in the Twilight movies, sister of Edward Cullen *. I wore this when I went out with my bf and my bro last Friday~! Hope you enjoy this one xx
