Me Me Me nail polish in Champagne
Gold with a sheen
2 coats
I believe that Me Me Me is a Superdrug exclusive brand (but I might be wrong!). Although this colour is very pretty, overall, I did not like this nail polish. The formula is quite thin (which I like, seems easier to manage!) and applies alright, however, even when dry, it is so vulnerable to scratches! I could not believe it. I just run my fingers through my hair, and I get a scratch mark. It could be the way I brush my hair with my fingers? But that doesn't happen with other nail polishes though. I guess that's what I get from not using a top coat, but I intentionally didn't wear one for a good review. ♥
Have you tried any nail polishes from Me Me Me? ♥

17 Nail Polish in Sherbet Lemon
Pastel yellow, cream finish (matte with a sheen ?)
2 coats, no base coat or top coat
(please excuse the awful cuticles!!)
Its the first time I've tried a nail polish from the Boots line 17. I'm not too impressed, nor am I disappointed with this product. Just so so. Application wasn't a dream, but it wasn't too bad either. I like that its quite thick and only requires two coats to get it opaque. However, I don't like brush lines being too obvious.
Actually, I kinda regret buying this one instead of a similar pastel yellow by China Glaze called Lemon Fizz! I might still get that one though, will see :)
Have you tried 17 nail polishes?? xx

Hi everyone! Here are my goodies from the MAC Give Me Liberty of London collection. This collection is a collaboration between MAC and the centuries-old ( I think?) Liberty of London brand, famous for its prints shown on the product packaging. I'm happy I was able to hold back on buying from this collection - I got two of the lipsticks as Back2MAC (MAC's recycling program) and the eyeshadow and blush were purchased. Keep reading to see what I bought, swatches, and comparison swatches! ♥
When I saw this collection, the first thing I was drawn to were the lipsticks. They are gorgeous and vibrant, and come in quite a range of colours - even if there are only 4! I took them to the mirror, sanitised them in alcohol and swatched them - hey I'm a seasoned MAC addict lol. I've been loving lavender lips lately, so I really liked Blooming Lovely, and I could not pass up on a hot pink lipstick like Petals and Peacocks! I thouhght Peachstock was a great colour as well, but I was having problems applying it. It seemed a bit patchy? I really want to pick it up, but I need some tips on how to apply it without looking patchy and yucky. Tips, anyone?? ♥
So I got Petals and Peacocks, which I've also heard to be comparable to MAC Gladiola lipstick (LE) from the Dame Edna for MAC collection. I also have that one, and here is a comparison swatch!
Although they look identical in the tube, they both have different finishes - as you can see in the swatches. Both are really pigmented, but Petals and Peacocks is a creamy amplified finish with a glossy sheen, whereas Gladiola is a creamy but matte colour. I love them both!
I got Blooming Lovely also, which is a lavender colour. It has been compared to Lavender Whip (LE) from the Creamteam collection last year, and here's a comparison swatch!
As you can see from the tube, Blooming Lovely is a lot darker and more pink compared to Lavender Whip, which is a straight up lavender colour. Blooming Lovely is an amplified cream finish and it is definitely more pigmented than Lavender Whip, which is a cremesheen finish. I love both though! :)
Next thing that caught my attention was Prim and Proper blush. When I swatched it, it has decent pigmentation, and the colour was unlike anything I had in my collection. Its like a rosy bronze colour with a sheen, although it is not frosty. I really like it. Sorry I forgot to take a photo of a swatch!
The last thing I got was Birds and Berries eyeshadow. Its a dark blue green with a really pretty turquoise sheen. It was the prettiest eyeshadow of the bunch so I took it. Although, I thought it might be similar to some eyeshadows I already have, so here they are swatched!
I compared Birds and Berries with Grey Range (LE) from the Photo Realism eyeshadow quad, and Love Lace (LE) from the Love Lace collection. You can tell that Birds and Berries has that beautiful sheen that both Grey Range and Love Lace lack. On the pan it looks more similar to Grey Range than Love Lace, however on the swatch, it seems closer to Love Lace than Grey Range. In real life though you can tell that Birds and Berries is more teal than Love Lace, but it doesn't really show in this swatch for some reason. All three are gorgeous veluxe pearl finish eyeshadows. ♥
I already have Summer Rose beauty powder from the Rose Romance collection, and I've been using that quite a bit recently. Sorry I haven't uploaded photos or swatches of that! I'm sure you'll be able to find several online :) xx
So that's my haul everyone! What did you get?? What are your top 3 must-haves from this collection?? And once again, any tips you can share on how to apply Peachstock lipstick?? ♥

Hi everyone! I'm sorry for the lack of posts lately. I've been really busy with work and life + a little bit lazy with my blogging. For a while, blogging started to feel like a chore for me and decided I needed a bit of a break and actually blog when I want to (as opposed to feeling like I have to!). I meant to do this look ever since MAC Spring Colour Forecast came out (4 weeks ago!), but I never had the time. I'm on a short Easter break now, and I realise I haven't posted a LOOK in a long time. So here's my peach and pink look inspired by the Coral sub-collection in MAC Spring Colour Forecast! I think it looks sweet and good enough to eat lol. I hope you like it xxx
I used:
EYES
MAC Rubenesque paint pot (base)
MAC eyeshadows in Nanogold (highlight), Dear Cupcake (satin medium-pink, crease), Evening Aura (peachy gold, lid)
MAC Black Russian eye liner (black with sparkles, upper lashline)
MAC Fascinating eye kohl (white, waterline)
Maybelline Falsies Mascara - love! ♥
MAC Spiked brow pencil
FACE
MAC Select Moisturecover concealer
MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural
MAC Sun & Moon mineralized blush
MAC Pearl cream colour base
LIPS
MAC Mouth Off lip pencil (orange)
MAC Fresh Salmon lipstick (coral with gold sheen)
I really liked this look and the bf complimented me on it. When I do wear a full face of makeup, I usually go for dark and smokey makeup and not like this, but since I like the way this turned out, I think I'll try wearing brighter colours more often. ♥ What's your makeup style? ♥
I've also been sporting these green contacts since Spring started. They're Flex Wear Emotions, although I can't recall the shade name. I really like them. I had them in my stash for a while (sealed of course), but I just decided to whip them out when I saw the gorgeous Amanda Seyfriend on the cover of one of the recent magazines - Glamour I think?
As I said, I really like these green contacts but my bf seems to prefer me with my brown or blue lenses. What do you think? ♥
Do you like this look?? xx
I also got to check out the MAC Liberty of London collection last week, and my haul will be on my next post! :) x
