Lip Swatches: Coral
It’s my Big Sister’s birthday today!
I thought I’d put
together a make up look inspired by Livia; the lovely, creative mind behind this
blog. My sister is my favourite beauty guru. I look up to
her for beauty and fashion tips. But she's also like a second mommy to me, and I always take her advice in to consideration. I am very proud of what she has achieved and I am proud to call her my
sister.
Ate*, this is for you.

MAC Force of Love Lipstick, MAC Stunner blush
MAC Force of Love lipstick hails from the MAC Chen Man Collection. Chen Man is a chinese fashion photographer in her early 20's known for her dreamy and fantasy-themed photoshoots. Out of the entire collection, I picked up this lipstick called Force of Love. It is a matte *super* bright coral-pink; it looks practically neon! It is definitely an eye-catcher. It is creamy to apply and it is very pigmented. It is perfect for Springtime, but definitely not for the colour-shy.
MAC Watch Me Simmer lipstick is a limited edition lipstick from the MAC SHOP MAC COOK MAC Collection. It is a creamy coral pink in a MAC Amplified Creme finish. It is opaque in one swatch and feels moisturising on the lips. It looks a brighter in person than on the lip swatch, but it is not as 'electrifying' as I thought it would be.
WARNING: PICTURE-HEAVY POST!
Over the last year, I have accumulated a few Sleek MakeUP True Colour lipsticks. These are richly pigmented lipsticks that come in an affordable price. There are so many shades to choose from (20+) and they come in a variety of finishes - I have a few matte and sheen lipsticks. I also love the packaging, so sleek. *no pun intended!* They come in small black easy-grip plastic containers that don't look at all cheap. They are pretty light and easy to carry around.

MAC Marquise D' Lipstick
Lustre finish
MAC Wonder Woman Collection
What a gorgeous, gorgeous lipstick! I can't believe I almost decided to skip this, until I saw one of the MAs wearing it. Marquise'd lipstick a light pinkish-coral, almost nude, with a faint golden sheen. It comes in a smooth creamy lustre finish, which is one of my favourites as it looks and feels really smooth and moisturising. It works well to brighten up my face without being too 'in-your-face bright'!

MAC On the Scene cremesheen glass came out with the MAC In the Groove collection. The cremesheen glass finish is one of my favourite finishes because they just make the lips look luscious and juicy! They are also not sticky.
MAC On the Scene cremesheen glass is a nude colour. Not very opaque, you can see some of my natural lip colour through. It also settles into fine lines (which is a bummer!), but I still like this lipgloss. It looks great on top of nude lipsticks, or to tone down bold lipsticks. It is not a must-have though, but it would be nice to own!
Do you have this lipgloss? What do you think?

Illamasqua Torture is a sheer orange-coral lipgloss. I love how non-sticky the finish is, and the sheerness makes it wearable ♥
What do you think of this colour? Would you wear it? ♥

Korres lipstick in Coral is a medium-toned coral colour. It glides on effortlessly on the lips, and feels like a MAC lustre finish lipstick. The SPF10 is a bonus too! ♥
Would you wear this colour?

I've finally decided that I no longer like MAC's sticky standard lipgloss finish as the stickiness just drives my lips to flake! MAC Cremesheen glasses however - I love. So smooth and nonsticky, they look and feel creamy on the lips! After the gorgeous Muhsine at Bubblegarm blogged about how similar these Barry M lip gloss wands are to my favourite lipgloss finish, I was curious to try them out, and I definitely agree with her. I am hooked on these lipglosses, and they're deliciously scented too~! ♥
Keep reading for reviews, swatches and lip swatches~! ♥

A lovely reader requested that I do a lip swatch of MAC Thrills lipstick. What I have is Thrills from the original release (not the recent To The Beach collection), hence its not in special packaging - but the product itself is still the same!
MAC Thrills is a rose colour with a gold frost, so overall it looks coral to me. I find that it is a darker and more pigmented version of the coveted Lollipop Loving lipstick.

This lipstick is a lovely coral lipstick with bluish sparkles. I really liked it, but I didn't wear it too much, so I've just sold it to someone who might appreciate it more! ♥

MAC Flowerplay lipstick
A peachy pink lustre with a subtle shimmer
LE from the MAC Strange Hybrid collection
This is quite a unique shade for MAC I think. Its in between coral and pink in terms of colour. It has a moisturising lustre finish. It's very pretty ♥ I haven't been using it much though, so I just sold it to a lovely reader who wanted it! But if you're on a hunt for pretty LE MAC lipsticks, this should be on your list! x

This is a super-late upload of a post I made a few weeks ago! I hope its not too late though :)
As I mentioned in one of my posts earlier, I was really underwhelmed by the MAC Spring Colour Forecast collection, while I loved the Too Fabulous collection, released the same day. Too Fabulous unleashed beautiful mineralized blushes, lip liners and lipglosses, and while Spring Colour Forecast released colours I felt I've seen before. When I first saw Spring Colour Forecast, I swatched the eyeshadows and blushes, and didn't bother with the lip products. I went back to the MAC store a week later, curious about the lip products this time as I missed them previously. Of the lip products, only Bubblegum and Fresh Salmon stood out to me. And when I tried on Fresh Salmon on my lips, I was in-love! The MA's complimented me on my lip choice and told me that they only had 1 tube left of Fresh Salmon, so I took it! The MA suggested I try Mouth Off lip pencil as well. At first I was skeptical, as I didn't feel as though I needed a lip pencil for this one. When I tried it on however, I was surprised the difference it made to the whole look so I took that as well!
Corals are in this season, and I'm happy I've found an amazing coral combo! Keep reading for more photos, reviews and swatches! ♥
